It was raining again yesterday so my sister and I cancelled our plans to have a hot oil treatment at a salon near us. Instead of sleeping, I browsed online for the prices of things needed by my youngest sister (who is the only one in the family left who goes to school). We’ve been needing a new scanner (the old one broke down a while back), and was comparing brands when I stumbled upon the OCR software.
It’s the first time I have heard of it but I learned it’s a software that converts your scanned images to easily editable text format. How cool is that? I wish I knew this when I was still schooling. It would have saved me some time from copying school notes. I’m not sure if my sister in school will need this, since she’s just in Grade Five, but it pays to know the tools we can use to make life easier.
I know that when Svetlana starts to attend school, there will be more and more high-technology products in the market to make her studying more convenient for her. I wish by then I could provide her with everything she needs and more. I’m looking forward to her actually going to school, but I can’t say I’m too eager about the tuition fees that will surely break our bank.
